1) Time together as a family, enjoying one another and participating in your children’s life.
2) Children learning from parents during what I call “Healthy Teachable Moments” about how to feed their bodies, how to prepare the foots that are most nourishing, and how to get a great workout.
3) Finding ways to be active that are so much fun and so satisfying, energizing, and enriching that the activity becomes a part of the family’s traditions and habits, not something done just to lose weight.
